The purpose of this site is to be an accurate and up to date cavy breed and color picture resource.
We hope this site can be an education tool for everyone and we sure hope it can help with any cavy (guinea pig) color and breed identification needs.

Our goal is to include every single cavy breed/color out there. Country of origin does not matter, we will include pictures from all over the world, so please don't hesitate. Term wise, because of our origin we do use US terms, but include the UK/European equivalent (if there is one) so that the global cavy community can use this site with ease as well.
Please note, that credit will be given to every person that sends in pictures or lets us have permission to use their photos.

When emailing pictures, please state the coat type/breed, variety/color, and whatever other information you want to include.
The larger the picture the better. Please remember, while we will consider every photo submitted, once a particular color in a breed is a bit overcrowded we will only include the higher quality pictures that best match the description.
